Victorinox Swiss army knives When Karl Elsener opened a cutlery workshop in 1884, he probably would never have dreamed that his pocket knives would become world-famous under the brand name “Victorinox”. However, the man had an eye for business. In 1891, he supplied knives to the Swiss army on a large scale for the first time. The Swiss army knife was also appreciated by American soldiers stationed in Europe after World War II. It was one of their favourite souvenirs. It has stayed that way. Today, hardly any person travelling to Switzerland leaves the country without an army knife in their luggage. And they keep it for a lifetime: Swiss made, indestructible and practical, you can take it anywhere.

Lindt chocolate “Nice to sweet you” is the motto of the Lindt Maître Chocolatiers.
